In response to the plights of those badly affected by the severe flood, iKHASAS Group has embarked on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to provide flood relief assistance to victims of the natural disaster.

On 23/12/2021, the Group contributed a monetary fund of RM100,000 and provided some logistics support to Yayasan Al-Sultan Abdullah to assist in the latter’s flood relief operations. In addition, the Group has also distributed various forms of basic necessities to the affected school children in the district of Mentakab, Pahang.

On 28/12/2021, headed personally by the Group CEO Ir Tan Chee Kian, a relief mission comprising more than 50 volunteers was mobilised to SMJK Hwa Lian in Mentakab, where assistance in terms of manpower and machinery was provided. The school was covered with thick layer of sludge and debris after being fully inundated by flood water for several days. Two units of 40-ton water tankers and various cleaning equipment were also despatched to ensure successful completion of the cleaning and washing works for the whole school buildings and its compound.

“We love, we care” is our CSR motto. We are glad to be able to contribute in a small way to the society.
